Babka Paradise will be with us offering the MOST delicious babka, challah and other baked goods (kosher). Phenix Sharp Knife Sharpening will be with us June 20th! They sharpen more than just knives- scissors, gardening tools, blades and so much more! Everyone needs a sharper knife- don’t forget to bring them with you! Guest Food Truck- The Hen & The Hog offering specialty sausage, chicken sandwiches. Combo Special- Hot dog and fries. $1 Watermelon! Donations: St. Andrew's Food Pantry will have a table to collect much needed goods for people in our very own community. Please bring anything and everything you’re able to bring. The Annual River Vale Flag Burning Ceremony will take place at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 22. If you have an American Flag in need of proper disposal, it's not too late to drop it off at Town Hall! Please use our outdoor flag disposal box at the side entrance to Town Hall at 406 Rivervale Road. PSEG Gas/Waters and Bugsbee will be continuing to work on Cedar Lane and will be working in multiple locations tomorrow, Friday, May 31. This will cause a closure at Cedar Lane/Demarest Avenue. An additional closure will be at Cedar Lane/Cleveland Avenue to Cedar Lane/Westwood Avenue. River Vale Police Officers will be present to conduct traffic control and assist residents who reside in the affected area in accessing their homes/businesses. Please follow the posted detours. There is NO recycling pick up on Wednesday, May 29 this week. The next recycling pick up (glass, aluminum, plastic and tin only) will be on Wednesday, June 5. The River Vale Recycling Center at 320 Rivervale Road is open for drop off on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm. Please join us tomorrow morning, Saturday, May 23 at 10:30 am for River Vale's Annual Memorial Day Ceremony to honor the men and women of our Armed Forces who have given their lives in service to our Country. It will be held at Veterans Memorial Park, 406 Rivervale Road. Bring your kids and have them dress in Red, White & Blue to receive a FREE Slurpee at River Vale 7-Eleven.

River Vale Town Hall will be closed on Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day. We reopen on Tuesday, May 28 at 8:30 am. After Memorial Day, Town Hall business hours will be 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, through Labor Day 2024. Have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Stonybrook Swim Club is offering their Forever Friends program to River Vale residents! One adult and children under 3 years can meet at the Stonybrook kiddy pool on Monday and Friday mornings in July. Fee is $200.
