JOINT PLANNING BOARD MEETING CANCELLATION NOTICE PLEASE BE ADVISED that in accordance with the provisions of P.L. 1975 Chapter 231 of the Open Public Meetings Act, the Joint Planning Board of the Township of River Vale is cancelling the Special Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 2024. The purpose of this meeting is to review the application of Incandescent Development, LLC, for 691 & 693 Rivervale Road, Block 813, Lots 17 & 18. The applicant has requested an adjournment due to scheduling conflicts with their expert witnesses. The application will be adjourned to a future date to be determined and adequate notice will be published.

The Pascack Valley DPW has begun chipping for the season. Please remember anything over 4’ must be put to the curb and anything under 4’ must be barreled or bundled. They are aware there is an abundance of chipping needed from all the winter storms, so please be patient as they make their way to you. They thank you for your patience and they hope to be through town by the end of the week!

River Vale's health services provider, Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission, is offering in-person and virtual Health Education programs in partnership with Valley Health. The Township is once again excited to host the River Vale Fitness with Friends/Run 4 The Love Spring Fling 5K Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, May 19, 2024 starting at 8:30am. This event is for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities and a great way to spend the morning with your family or friends! While it's a fun run, there are prizes too- the top male, female and child runners will receive $100 gift cards. All proceeds from the race will be donated to the Helping Hand Food Pantry https://www.helpinghandfoodpantry.com/. Proceeds from the past three River Vale 5Ks have contributed over $1.6k to help residents of the Pascack Valley area who need food assistance. All are welcome, even your 4 legged friends (on leash)!
