Summer is finding its rhythm at the River Vale Farmer’s Market, and this Thursday, June 4, 2026, we're turning up the tempo for a special celebration of Jazz!
Join us from 1PM–6PM at 406 Rivervale Road for an afternoon filled with fresh flavors, local shopping, community connections, and toe-tapping live music that will have the whole market swinging.
For the third consecutive year, we're thrilled to welcome the talented Pascack Valley High School Chamber Jazz musicians, performing from 3:30PM–4:15PM. Their smooth melodies and impressive musicianship will set the perfect tone for the afternoon. Then, from 4:15PM–6PM, the Mighty Rumble Brass Band takes center stage, bringing their high-energy Louisiana sound to the market. This crowd-favorite features two beloved local music educators — Pascack Valley Band Director Craig Yaremko and Holdrum Band Director Johnny Gittings. Get ready for an unforgettable performance full of soulful grooves, bold brass, and plenty of jazz-inspired fun!

There have been increased instances of illegal dumping at the River Vale Recycling Center (320 Rivervale Road) and our Department asks that you please follow the policies that are already in place.
Please be mindful that our recycling center does NOT accept plastic bags in any capacity.
We only accept the following types of plastic: Categories 1, 2, 5.
All cardboard MUST be flattened before being put into the container at the recycling center.
There is no after hours drop off of electronics nor metal on the bench in front of the facility. Metal and electronics can be brought to the facility during operating hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7am to 3pm.
Metal/White Good pickups can be scheduled through the Public Works/ Recycling page on the River Vale website for Thursdays. https://www.rivervalenj.org/o/trv/page/recycling
Adherence to these rules is mandatory and we thank you for your cooperation.
River Vale's health services provider, Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission, is offering in-person and virtual Health Education programs in partnership with Valley Health.
These Health programs are free and open to the public and are updated frequently with new programs added every month! This is also the best place to see the schedule of in-person events in your community by our Health Educator.
