About the Center

River Vale's Community / Senior Center opened on September 15, 2007. It hosts the Senior Friendship club, First Friends as well as other Township events, groups and fitness programs. 

Usage Policy - Please note that while reservations may be requested for meetings and events by insured River Vale town groups such as Scouts, PTA and Sports Associations, it is not available for private parties (such as birthday parties), for-profit businesses or political events.  Reservations by other insured non-profit groups may be considered but a nonrefundable $50 facility usage fee will be charged per use which must be paid prior to usage date.

The Community Center Availability Calendar and Request Form is online via Community Pass. Click on "Facilities" and then "Calendar" at the top of the page. Once you check if your desired date and time is available, please click the gold "Reserve Now" button to request a reservation. We recommend you create a Community Pass account specific to your organization where the login info can be passed on to others. You will be notified when your request is approved or denied.

In order to allow availability for the many River Vale groups requesting use, reservation requests may be declined if a group requests an excessive amount of time at the Center.  Alcohol is prohibited.

Please make sure the Center lights are turned off when you leave. The building should be open when you arrive and will automatically lock after you leave.
