Thanksgiving Farmer’s Market, Tomorrow, TUESDAY (NOT THURSDAY) 11/26 from 12-4pm at the River Vale Town Hall Parking Lot. While this is the LAST market of the season, it’s definitely not the least! This is perfect opportunity for you to pick up locally grown or produced items for your Thanksgiving dinner!
Hope Cress Farms has sold out of fresh, farm raised turkey, but you can get other Thanksgiving necessities to make the perfect side dish. Orlando’s Famous bakery will have freshly baked breads (freeze the bread until Thursday, and it will still be perfect)! Delicious and beautiful homemade chocolate cornucopias will be available from Clyde’s Homemade Ices & Ice Cream- a perfect gift for your Thanksgiving hosts. PickleLicious- not only do they have pickles, but so many other appetizers- sundried tomatoes, roasted garlic, olives and much more to create an incredible crudité platter. The Empanada Lady will be serving up warm delicious empanadas with a special Thanksgiving variety (did someone say stuffing?). Registration is open for Intro to Pickleball for adult beginners! This fun, no pressure, 1 hour session will help you feel comfortable and confident on the court. You'll learn the basics such as rules and scoring, as well as intro skills and strategies. We will begin holding pickleball games so that players who are not interested in braving the cold can continue honing their skills and meet other players interested in a convenient and warm location to play. After class, your instructor will suggest other pickleball programs to try and ways to stay involved.
Who is this class for: Anyone who has never played, or played a few times and wants to learn the fundamentals and rules of the game and feel confident getting on the court.
Anyone Ages 16+. You do not need to be a River Vale resident.
