As directed by the Bergen County Board of Taxation and the NJ Division of Taxation, the Township of River Vale is revaluing all properties for the 2027 tax year to ensure uniform and equitable assessments.

The Township has contracted Appraisal Systems, Inc. to assist in the Reassessment program.

The first step of the process is the inspection of all Township properties, which is set to begin the week of June 15, 2026.
