Safety Town is a safety program for River Vale and Hillsdale children eligible to enter public or parochial Kindergarten in September 2023. Non-resident children who will be attending St. John’s Academy in Hillsdale are also eligible to attend.
It is designed for incoming kindergarten children to learn about types of safety behavior. Children will learn songs and poems, work on arts and crafts projects, and enjoy fun, educational programs from various presenters. Days will be planned around safety themes including fire safety, playground safety, stranger danger, first aid, as well as many others.
