Messages and Emergency Alerts Using.

They are available free of charge for the Police Department to create and publish messages. Example messages may include traffic advisories, weather alerts, emergent situations as well as other relevant safety and community event information. You can have these messages sent to your cell phone.

The River Vale Police Department also uses the SwiftReach “Swift 911” telephone message system in certain situations. Swift911™ is simply a system that makes phone calls to specific people or areas in the event of an emergency or for sharing important information. This is typically used when there is an emergency and residents may need to take action. The Swift 911 calls may be made in addition to the Twitter messages being sent.
