Monthly Recycling Schedule


1st Wednesday
Co-mingled glass, aluminum, plastic tin

2nd Wednesday
Newspapers, Magazines, & Corrugated Cardboard ONLY

3rd Wednesday
Co-mingled glass, aluminum, plastic, tin

4th Wednesday
Newspapers and Magazines Corrugated Cardboard ONLY

5th Wednesday
No pickup

Newspapers and magazines must be bundled separately. Cardboard must be cut, flattened, and tied.

Bundles can be wrapped by string or non-plastic cord.

No plastic or brown paper bags are accepted.

Large Branch and Heavy Wood (MONDAYS)

Monday, March 17, 2008 through October 6, 2008, weather permitting
NO COLLECTION : Memorial Day, May 26 and Labor Day, September 1

Please observe the following rules:

LARGE BRANCHES

  • Over 2 inches in diameter
  • Cut to between 4-10 ft. in length
  • Place by the curb by 7:00 A.M. each Monday
  • Place cut end facing the roadway.
  • DO NOT place branches in the roadway or blocking fire hydrants.

HEAVY WOOD

  • Tree trunks, fire wood, roots or root balls, etc.
  • NOT to exceed 75 Ibs. in weight
  • Should be placed by the curb by 7:00 A.M. each Monday.

 

Garden Debris
Collection
(TUESDAYS)

Tuesday, March 25, 2008 through October 28, 2008, weather permitting




Please observe the following rules:


GARDEN DEBRIS

  • Grass, in approved containers
  • Brush & Bushes - Cut to 4 foot in length and tied in bundles that are less
    than 50 lbs.
  • Branches - Less than 2 inches in diameter



APPROVED CONTAINERS

  • Trash Cans, 32 gallons or less, not to exceed 75 Ibs. in weight, with
    handles and drain holes or cover(s).
  • Bio-Degradable Paper Bag(s)
  • Not to exceed 50 Ibs. in weight, with the word "BIO-DEGRADABLE" printed on
    side.
  • Plastic Bags are not Approved Containers
  • Place Garden Debris by the curb on Monday evening.
  • DO NOT place Garden Debris in the roadway or blocking fire hydrants.
  • DO NOT mix dirt, rocks, stones, asphalt or similar material with garden
    debris.
