Please note: After January 3 , 2008 a late fee will be assessed in the amount of $10.00 (Ten Dollars).

1) A dog or cat which has reached the age of seven months or possess a set of permanent teeth, must be licensed.

Exceptions:

a) Pets currently licensed in another town in New Jersey are not required to be relicensed until the following year.
b) Newly acquired pets must be licensed within (10) days of acquisition.
c) Pets must be licensed within ten (10) days of reaching licensing age.
d) Pets currently licensed in another state must be re-licensed in the Township within ninety (90) days.

2) All pet licenses expire on January 31 of each year.

3) Licenses must be issued in the name of an adult member of the household.

4) No pets are permitted to run at large. Owners will be subject to a fine.
