River Vale's new Community Center/ Senior Center opened on September 15, 2007.
It hosts the Senior Friendship Club , First Friends as well as other Township events and groups.

Once again, the Township will host a two week camp (June 29 - July 10) for incoming Kindergarten students. This progam is a two week half day (9:15-12:15) camp at which the children will have fun with many future classmates.
They will sing, play outside, make art projects and participate in many other exciting activities. Our primary goal is for the children to socialize with each other in various settings (classroom, playground, etc.). Last year it proved to be a great bridge to Kindergarten for the students.
Any child eligible to attend any Kindergarten program in September 2009 (public or private) is eligible to attend this camp.
Registration Deadline was May 1, 2009.
