We the members of the River Vale Police Department are committed to being responsive to the community in the delivery of quality law enforcement services.

We recognize our responsibility to maintain order, while affording respect to all we
come in contact with.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for
residents of River Vale
through partnership
with the community that promotes safety, security and pride.


River Vale Police Department

The River Vale Police Department, under the command of
Chief Michael J. McCann, is available to assist its residents
24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

In addition to police service, the River Vale Police Department
is also the primary dispatch coordination center for
the Fire Department and Ambulance Corps.
