Welcome to River Vale’s official website. We hope you find it a useful resource. We are always looking for ways to improve so if you have any suggestions about the site or about anything town-related, we encourage you to contact us. River Vale is a very special place for me and for my family, like it is for many other people. I have lived here my entire life and couldn’t dream of raising my children in any other community. It’s the people who make the town what it is. The community spirit has been a consistent theme throughout my life here. Whether it’s the sports programs, our volunteer emergency service teams, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts or our Public Library, our people take pride in their town and it shows in the countless hours they all spend making it a great place to live. When I grew up here, parts of the town still had a rural feel. Despite the many years of growth, we have been able to maintain a small town feel. It’s the feel you have when you see the same faces on the ball field, at the movie night and at the local stores. It’s a sense of comfort that neighbors watch out for each other and help each other. The township employees and I know that we work for our residents and as such, customer service will always be a priority. We look forward to hearing from you.
