at the Mark Lane Recreational Complex off of Piermont Avenue.

The River Vale Farmers Market, celebrating its 14th season this year, is a community affair going back to when people looked forward to their weekly trip into town for supplies and socializing. Every Thursday morning, trucks and vans laden with produce and goods will be rolling into the Mark Lane Recreation complex off of Piermont Avenue; transforming the Hoffman field parking lot into an old fashioned Town square as tents and tables are set up with goods for sale from 12 noon to 6 pm.

Benefits The market offers Jersey Farmers an opportunity to sell directly to consumers. It also offers local residents an opportunity to meet the people who grow the food that is destined for their tables. Freshness is not a question at our market, we know that it was picked hours ago, not thousands of miles ago. In addition to morning fresh produce, we’ve got mouth watering baked goods, sour pickles, Italian breads, frozen pizzas, Italian Ices, and the best fresh mozzarella in the county. Pie Eyed Pies has pizzas and sauces that are so tasty that you'll want to stock up for the entire week! Stokes Farm grown only a few miles away, Stokes offers vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs.
