Safety Town is a camp only offered to only River Vale children entering public or parochial kindergarten in September 2012
and must be 5 years old by 10/1/12.
“SAFETY TOWN” is an early childhood education program designed to introduce children to all types of safety behavior through their own involvement. They do this by role-playing in simulated and actual life situations under the guidance of teachers, a police officer and student volunteers. Safety songs, poems, art projects, stories, movies and visits with Police and Fire Departments and First Aid Squads make this program a fun learning experience that children eagerly look forward to attending.
-Camp begins on Monday, August 6 and ends on Thursday, August 16, 2012
-Camp is held at the River Vale Community Center
-Camp has two groups per day:
Group #1 9:00 am to 10:30 am
Group #2 10 am to 11:30 am
-Camp fees = $50 per camper
